THE STORY

Alex and Ryan first met in 2018 as roommates during a master’s program at Tufts in Boston, where living together gradually grew into something more meaningful. Years later, Ryan proposed at sunrise on top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park, a complete surprise and full circle moment in a place they love. Together they enjoy an active lifestyle filled with hiking, kayaking, walking their dogs, and time outdoors, along with low key nights at movies, restaurants, and bars, and spending time with friends and family.

THE VISION

Alex and Ryan envisioned an outdoor celebration filled with fresh air, sunshine, and a beautiful Maine setting, introducing their families to the landscape that they love so dearly. They were most excited about bringing two families together and creating shared memories in a place that feels meaningful to both sides.

They prioritized a venue near Acadia National Park and Ryan’s hometown, offering guests the chance to enjoy a relaxed, outdoors focused weekend during late summer weather, with time spent together in nature. The design direction centered on a classic palette of blue and white with soft sage accents, creating a timeless, coastal feel that reflected the surrounding landscape.
