Set along the coast of Mount Desert Island, this Bar Harbor Club wedding was designed as a full wedding weekend experience for 180 guests traveling from across the country to celebrate in one of Maine's most iconic coastal destinations.

The vision centered around creating an atmosphere that felt sophisticated yet welcoming, balancing the elegance of a black-tie celebration with the relaxed beauty of a Maine summer weekend. The ceremony overlooked Frenchman Bay, while a clear-frame tent allowed guests to enjoy sweeping ocean views throughout dinner and dancing.

The design palette embraced soft coastal tones, abundant hydrangeas, layered candlelight, and natural textures. Oversized rattan pendants brought warmth and scale to the tented reception, while custom details including a hockey-inspired escort display and curated lounge moments reflected the couple's personalities and created meaningful opportunities for guest interaction.

With multiple events taking place throughout the weekend, guest flow and logistics were carefully considered from the earliest planning stages. Transportation coordination, tent layout, weather contingencies, and transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and the after-party were designed to feel effortless for guests while maintaining a seamless experience from beginning to end.

The result was a celebration that honored the natural beauty of coastal Maine while delivering an elevated guest experience rooted in thoughtful design, hospitality, and connection.
