Sydney and Drew envisioned a celebration that felt timeless, elegant, and deeply connected to the Maine coast. Set against the dramatic backdrop of Samoset Resort, the design embraced the property's sweeping ocean views, manicured grounds, and iconic coastal architecture while creating an atmosphere that felt warm, welcoming, and effortlessly refined.

Guests gathered overlooking Penobscot Bay for an oceanside ceremony before transitioning to cocktail hour throughout the resort grounds. As evening approached, dinner and dancing unfolded beneath a clear-span tent illuminated by candlelight, allowing the surrounding landscape to remain part of the experience long after sunset.

A palette of soft neutrals, layered textures, abundant florals, and classic design elements created a celebration that felt sophisticated without feeling overly formal. Thoughtful planning and guest flow ensured every part of the day felt seamless, allowing family and friends to fully immerse themselves in the experience while celebrating one of Maine's most beautiful coastal destinations.
