THE STORY

Lucie and Dave met at a mutual friend’s going away party in NYC, where they instantly connected over shared humor, Pittsburgh ties, and an unexpectedly memorable conversation about toilet paper. What started as a joke quickly turned into something more, with an easy chemistry that carried into their first date at a live music bar in the city.

Together, they love hosting friends, traveling, playing games, and spending time with their dog, Kiefer. Dave’s proposal was a complete surprise, planned around recreating some of their favorite dates before ending with a proposal outside their favorite karaoke dive bar in a moment that felt entirely like them.

THE VISION

Lucie and Dave wanted their wedding to feel funky, offbeat, retro, and deeply fun, creating an atmosphere that never felt overly polished or pretentious. More than anything, they were most excited about having every person they love together in one place at the same time, something they saw as incredibly rare and worth celebrating fully.

They wanted guests to walk away remembering how much fun they had, with thoughtful details centered around a creative custom menu and a strong beverage program. Their floral vision leaned heavily into greenery, creating a relaxed, natural feel that matched the energy of the celebration.
