CLASSIC GARDEN PARTY ROMANCE

AUGUST 2025
THE STORY

Elizabeth and Sam met through a mutual friend at Colby College, where their connection began simply and grew steadily over time.

Sam’s proposal was a surprise, even though Elizabeth knew it might happen sometime that summer. After a few convincing decoys, he proposed by the water in Stonington following a bike ride along the coast, a moment that felt easy, joyful, and true to them.

Together, they love spending time outdoors, hiking, running, biking, skiing, and swimming, balanced with cozy nights baking and traveling whenever they can.

THE VISION

Elizabeth and Sam wanted their wedding to feel comfortable, fun, and aesthetically pleasing, creating an atmosphere where everyone could fully relax and enjoy the day. They were especially excited for a lively evening of dinner and dancing, along with time to connect with friends and family.

Their vision included a wildflower inspired aesthetic, bringing a natural and effortless feel to the setting. Elements like a live band, thoughtful food and beverage offerings, and a light canopy in the barn helped shape the overall experience. They also considered ways to ensure comfort and accessibility for older guests, making the celebration feel welcoming and easy for everyone in attendance.
