THE design & experience

Frances and Andrew envisioned an intimate celebration that felt joyful, relaxed, and deeply personal. With just 27 guests in attendance, the focus was on creating meaningful moments with the people who had played the biggest role in their lives and relationship.

Their wedding blended the warmth of their Southern roots with the beauty of the Maine coast. Following a traditional Catholic ceremony, guests gathered at The Cove House for a celebration filled with thoughtful details, exceptional food, and an atmosphere that felt both elevated and effortless.

The design embraced a romantic garden-party aesthetic with layered textures, antique silver serveware, soft florals, serpentine tables, and candlelight woven throughout the evening. Bistro lights overhead and a wood-fired dinner created a welcoming atmosphere that encouraged guests to linger, connect, and celebrate long into the night. Their young daughter played an important role in the day, making the celebration feel not only like a wedding, but a reflection of the family they had already begun building together.
